Terms of Service
Last updated: May 12, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Closot connected workspace and related websites operated by Closot Inc. (“Closot,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Closot provides a connected workspace for docs, projects, wikis, and AI assistance. You may use the Services only in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@closot.com of any unauthorized use.
3. Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you create or upload to Closot. You grant Closot a limited license to host, store, display, and process your content solely to provide the Services to you and your collaborators.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Services. Examples of prohibited conduct include violating applicable laws, infringing on others’ rights, attempting to disrupt or compromise the Services, or using the Services to send spam or malicious content.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time from account settings; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
6. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the security and integrity of the Services. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends, and we may delete content associated with your account after a reasonable retention period.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Closot is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Services. Your continued use after the changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
